Okay, I wasn't expecting much. I mean it is a hot dog shop. But let me tell you, this was one of the best dogs I have had in a very long time. They keep it simple. Simple and tasty. We ordered chili dogs, chili cheese fries and everything was just fantastic. We were a very large group, so they opened up the back section for us. It took a while because all the tables were dirty and they had to clean it all up. It kind of felt like they were putting on us "the back of the bus" if you know what I mean. Whatever, we enjoyed our company and our food and had a good time.

Great food but HORRIBLE manager service. I witnessed the restaurant manager yell at a new employee because she did not know how to ring something up correctly. He made her cry right infront of my family. You can tell the employees are not friendly because, for one, the waitresses during breakfast are completely rude to newer employees and to those who have questions about the menu.

I've now been to three Hot Dog Shoppe locations and I've never once been disappointed! From the price to the food, everything here is a win. Of course you're not going to get a four-course meal, but sometimes all you need is a good burger or hot dog to satisfy that craving. Of course you can't forget those chili cheese fries on the side! Their food, friendly staff and prices keep me coming back for more!

If you want to taste the definition of average, go here. This was a good place in the 1970's, "cost efficiency" has made it very pedestrian today. Chili sauce, meh, fries, okay, service, meh. And it might be the only fast food place in America that charges for a refill on a soft drink. HAHAHA

Great food - especially for the price! It's nothing fancy, burgers and hot dogs, with some other stuff tossed in (not sure about their breakfast, never tried it). But the chili cheese dogs are great, same with the chili cheese fries. Service can be a little slow at times (considering its a drive thru) , but for my family to be able to eat for less than $20, I'm fine with waiting for five minutes in the car while they cook our food. Employees are not always smiling, but they get the job done in a timely fashion, and with as much quality as possible (again, there's not much you can do with hit dogs and burgers).

I love Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe. I worked for them a number of years ago and can attest to the freshness of their food. The majority of their food aside from the Oscar Meyer hot dogs, buns, and condiments are prepared daily at a central processing facility and shipped out fresh to all of the BHDS restaurants. They make the chili from scratch everyday. The grind and make out their burger patties everyday without freezing them. The fries are always fresh cut. The burgers, chili, fries, and ultra-cheap breakfasts are my favorites. This is probably the best one, but they can be found all over Beaver County and even in Pittsburgh and its suburbs.

This dive will do in a pinch, if you are desperate for a dog and sauce. I have had 1000% better, but have to travel down to Fairmont WV to get them. The prices recently wetn up at the HDS and they were already too high. But, my kids love it, so I tolerate. The fries are passable, chili ok. If there were better around here I would never go back to the HDS.

So despite the fact the hot dogs blow my mind here, I'm forced to give a crappy rating. After gleefully downing two amazing hot dogs and getting to the bottom of my bacon cheese fries... looking right back up at me was a long, black hair. Hair/bugs/foreign bodies in my food will definitely knock you down a star or two from me. Though despite being grossed out, I might still eat there again. I know, that's a little messed up. But the food is good.

I literally dream about these chili cheese fries! I don't know what it is but I have yet to find another palatable chili cheese fry in the world! I live in Los Angeles now and it kills me not to have a HDS here! I have to get a large chili cheese fry at least twice each time I make it back to PA. And a banana milkshake! MMMM! Crap, I wish I had some now!

Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe is a staple for me every time I come back to Pittsburgh. Their hot dogs are delicious, and their soft & chewy steamed hot dog buns really make the difference! Cheese fries are good, too. I love it here!

If you're looking for simple and delicious food, the Hot Dog Shoppe is perfect! They have the best chili around. I always get hot dogs with chili and cheese, and fries with chili and cheese, and sometimes even a chocolate milkshake! Great food and low prices, sweet!!

Never have anything bad to say about this place..and no it's not because I worked for the company for 3 years either lol the breakfast is extremely filling and always on point no matter what you get, and you seriously can't beat the price. My boyfriend got the southwest omelette and I stuck with my go to bacon and cheese omelette..both came with home fries and toast and we both got large drinks and managed to make it out for under $15!! Seriously where else can you do that? And obviously the lunch and dinner menu with the hot dogs, burgers, and fries is a staple for anyone who grew up in beaver county, I love this place, it seriously never gets old..
